Disneyworld on the Allegheny: This is an ironic name we gave to PNC Park but mostly to the use to which the McClatchy partnership puts the place. It’s a beautiful venue in which to take in a baseball game. But the partnership treats the park, its amenities and the sideshows which punctuate most baseball games as the key attractions, not the baseball team they send onto the field. Like Disneyworld, PNC is long on style but short on substance.
